Postcards from Nowhere

Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK) held an exhibit entitled Postcards from Nowhere, the 19th Ang INK Annual Exhibit, which runs until September 30 at the Tala Gallery 100 Scout De Guia Steet, Kamuning, Quezon City.

Postcards from Nowhere is an exhibit about fictional geographies, places that do not exist on any map, and the power of the imagination to create landscapes from thin air.

Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang I.N.K.) is the Philippines first and only non-profit organization of illustrators for children. Founded in 1991, our mission is to uplift the Filipino child's love for reading, art and learning through the creation and promotion of illustrations for children.

notes: paano nga ba pinagtatagumpayan ang takot? paano ka ba bigla na lang tatalon at bubulusok sa di mo pa nalalaman?   paano ba kumbinsihin ang sarili na kaya mo gawin ang inaakala mong di mo kaya? paano ba kumawala sa siklo ng pagtatanong papunta sa aktuwal na pagkilos. tanong ko ito palagi sa sarili, kahit pa tila gumagawa ako ng maliliit na hakbang pasulong di ko pa rin maiwasan ang dumungaw muna sa pupuntahan tapos umatras ng ilang pulgada at mag-isip, mag-analisa, pagduduhan ang sariling mga kakayanan, matutong umasa, subukin ang sariling kakayanan, at magsimula ulit sa simula.
